Stepping off the career track is easy, but getting back on is hard. In March 2005, the Harvard Business Review published a landmark article by Sylvia Ann Hewlett and Carolyn Buck Luce entitled "Off-Ramps and On-Ramps: Keeping Talented Women on the Road to Success." This network is an outgrowth of the amazing response that piece generated. We want this to be a place for people who are either ramping up or ramping down to share their experiences and network with each other. We also want our members to tell us how companies can make this process easier.
